Hidden Themes On Windows 7

Windows 7 came with some very nice themes – a combination of sounds, backgrounds and colors which really customizes the Windows experience.

If you want to try out some more themes, try out this trick. Apparently Microsoft regionalized its releases and hid the other themes deep in the Windows folder. Anyway, you can access them by following this quick tip.

1. Open C:\Windows\Globalization\MCT
2. Search for “theme”. If nothing pops up, click Organize>Folder & Search Options>View tab>Unselect Hide protected operating system files
3. You will see ZA.theme, CA.theme, GB.theme, etc.., click these to install these themes.
4. Done! 4 new themes to enjoy!
